Title: SCSA Match 10 - 11 February

Dear Shooter,
Steel Challenge Malta through AACTS is organising a SCSA Match that will be held on two days from 10 to 11 February 2017.
Participants will have the opportunity to train on the competition stages on Friday 10 February while the actual competition will be held on Saturday 11 February.

Venue for event:
Bunblast Nadur Gozo

Times and Fees:
Training session Friday 10 February from 10:00 16:30. Fee 10
Competition Saturday 11 February from 9:30 to 11:00 enrolment. Event till 16:30. Enrolment fee 15
*A fee of 5 will be charged per extra division enrolled *

All shooters are to stand for the safety brief by the RCO.
The event is open to TSA qualified shooters from any shooting club or association.

Divisions for event:

Production Division
Any double action or safe action pistol on the USPSA Production gun list. No Race holsters allowed.

Revolver Division
Any iron sighted revolver without a compensator, barrel ports or optical sight. Fibre optic inserts are specifically allowed. No barrel length or holster restrictions. No restrictions for maximum rounds.

Single Stack 1911
1911 models only, no race holsters allowed.

Limited Division
Any iron-sighted pistol without a compensator, barrel ports or optical sight.
Fibre optic inserts are specifically allowed.

Open Division
As its name implies, the Open Division allows for the greatest range of pistol and sight modification. Pistols used in Open Division competition are the shooting equivalent to the Formula 1 race car. They are custom built with parts and features specifically designed for competition. The most notable modifications are the use of recoil compensators and optical sighting systems. The overall length of the magazine is restricted to 170mm.
Optics, Compensators, and any safe holster/position are specifically allowed

Rimfire Iron Sights (.22lr)
Any Iron-sighted rimfire pistols without a compensator, barrel ports or optic sights. Fibre optic sights inserts are specifically allowed.

The stages selected for this event are:

Smoke & Hope - Best 4 of 5 runs

Five to Go - Best 4 of 5 runs

Check List
This check list is the minimum requirements for a SCSA training session.
Shooters will not be able to participate if missing one of the items below:

TSA license
A valid insurance covering current year
Club membership card covering current year
SCSA legal holster (see rulebook)
Eyes and hearing protection
Proper clothing and footwear
Range fee

Minimum cartridge for centre-fire (38 Special & 9mm).
Rim-fire firearms must be .22 Long Rifle (.22LR) only.
Please note that NO magnum ammunition is allowed during Steel Challenge shoots.
