Hey RF11! Haven't seen you for a while! If you'r getting the one that you told me about last time we met I don't think it will! Especially a 24gr! The one that you'r getting has a lot of steel and quite a hefty spring to push to the rear!

Hello all,

My Fabarm is up and running, I changed it's piston and am a happy person again.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/E6iZmFacY6c" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/E6iZmFacY6c</a>

Also have to admit. that I am upset with some people who use this forum; who went to to the dealer from where I bought this shotgun, and tried to used this thread to say Fabarm is not good. If things always goes this way, then a forum is useless. as people will be afraid to ask questions here, especially when they are totally new to a firearm, like a shotgun. To say everything, there was even a misunderstanding, between me and the dealer about cutting of the spring, as this was going to be a temporary solution, until a replacment spring or piston was available.  To cut a long story short now my shotgun is working good.

Hi Pierre
Glad you resolved the issue with the Fabarm.
Its a nice shotgun, one that I like in all aspects.

As for the badmouthing of a product it is were some people can excel in ignorance.  The famous term "iwahhallu" is on some people's tip of their tongue and they find the first opportunity to spell it out with everyone (including their pet) for a firearm they don't like or worst still a firearm they desperately wish to have but can't buy (......... in short sometimes called Jealousy).  So Dear Pierre - Welcome to the world of idiots.  Wink

The only thing I can complaine now is about Mghatab range, as I went to try my Fabarm there, and the saying the custumer is always right, does not mean anything there, He didn't want me to test my shotgun as I wished to, hence shooting Topolino down, Bunny and all his Disney airgun targets ........hehe......ara joking......ehhhhh.....but would have loved tooo Tongue

I would not worry much about loose talk; It has a propensity for a short life.

Every firearm under the Sun can have minuses, some built-in and occasionally a one-off defect.
Probably the best made issue pistol, the Sig 210 has that hideously inergonomic mag release;
One of the best innovations on Browning pistol designs, the CZ, has a trigger with more creep than a snakepit.
S&W revolvers, especially the N frames, are as unforgiving (of bad trigger technique), as Gengis Khan with a headache.

All these guns are excellent firearms and I own and would recommend them to anybody.
Arev theyn perfect ? Nope ! Can they go wrong? Of course they can and will !

Never mind the idiots who bad-mouth out of ignorance or whatever sets their jelly.
Its good to share information, we will all be better informed .
If you know your firearm well, you can get the best out of it.

Its good to see your gun back in action Pierre and I admire your persistence to see a problem solved in the proper manner with no Heath Robinson f up !

Actually, I have been following this thread with some interest.
I know that sometimes automatic guns malfunction mysteriously.
Its wonderfull to have some solid objective answers to the dilemma.

Also have to admit. that I am upset with some people who use this forum; who went to to the dealer from where I bought this shotgun, and tried to used this thread to say Fabarm is not good.

To whoever went to the dealer with these stories, well, anything and everything can go wrong with anything, I'm sure that people spend a lot of money on Ferraris but even they are often seen on the back of a tow truck!

To the dealer, relationships between retailers and their customers are far more "transparent" nowadays especially thanks to the Internet, so really if he can not accept this, then it's time to catch up because this is the way things are going to be from now on. The wise retailer uses this to his/her advantage.

End of the day, problems will happen, it's how they are sorted that counts. When a customer gets a great after sales service, this will also be publicised. I visit several other online forums and you will always find that certain products are almost far more popular than they should by right be, and the reason being, that the after sales service given by the agents/manufacturers/retailers for this product, is exceptional.

So to expect zero problems may be unrealistic, but the wise vendor understands that to expect problems to remain hidden is just as unrealistic, and rather sees them as an opportunity to shine and gain a customer's loyalty and enjoy positive feedback.
