  Wanted: HW97K or TX200
« on: January 11, 2011, 19:53:22 PM » by yammer
As the title says, I'm on the lookout for an underlever to be used for FT shooting. My intensions are to buy new but will consider a bargain.
Budget is around EUR 500 but depends on what comes with the rifle ie. scope, stock etc.
Rifle should preferably be in at least near mint condition and .177

MOB 79063959

Thanks

Either gun will be a fine choice. The 97K new will probably need a tune while the TX200 won't, but this is not such a big deal.

I bought a blue laminated 97K new for 400-something, a few shots down the line and it is dieseling heavily, so needs to be opened up and excessive grease removed. Again not a big deal but I have too many guns and doing too little shooting so it has sat there possibly waiting for a tune kit to come my way, so I only open it up once.  Wink

I read about the excessive grease that the 97K comes with as new and with the chopped spring of the 12 ft lbs UK versions. I think that only the full power versions are imported in Malta, whichever version, a tune-up kit is a must with the Weihrauch which I would have no problem with that and even if I opt for a TX I would still replace the standard items with a V-Mach kit or similar.
