« on: April 26, 2011, 22:12:36 PM » by EF
Hi

i was wondering if these airsoft guns are the same as BB guns that shoot little plastic balls (6mm usually).
also do u need a license for BB guns?
If so which license?

I greatly appreciate any information you could provide me with.
Thanks

Yep, same thing.

If I'm not mistaken its the Target B - Airsoft , or something like that. Target B is subdivided into a number of licences , shotgun, airgun, crossbow and I think airsoft is one of them.

I must correct you on crossbows, they fall under the licence A.

Longshanks. As kelinu said, crossbows are under lic A.
But they are not with the 10 gun quota.

No - only post-1945 schedule II cartridge firearms fall under the infamous quota of 10 pieces. The rest, including airsoft guns,  are not limited in any way.
