Ok guys & gals, here's what's gonna happen next Sunday. I suggest that at least you have 1 spare magazine for your carbine, (That's if you're running 30rd mags of course!) and 2 spare mags for your handgun! (15rds)

Stage 1 - 15 IDPA type targets, 7 of which are reactive, 6  poppers and 1 steel plate. Minimum round count for the stage is 28rds for the carbine 16 for handgun.

Stage 2 - 18 IDPA type targets, 9 of which are reactive, 1 swinger, 1 popper, 4 steel plates. Minimum round count is 30rds carbine, 25rds for handgun.

Stage 3 - 11 IDPA type targets, 7 of which are reactive, 1 swinger, 5 poppers. Minimum round count for this stage is 25rds carbine, 17rds Handgun

Hi everyone, on Sunday we meet at 0830hrs for the safety brief. Hope the weather doesn't ruin our plans!

In the mean time, here's some tips.....

1. All 3 stages begin with the carbine, then one has to transition to his secondary.

2. You'll be running, kneeling, crouching, etc,etc... With your handgun loaded (but not made ready) and holstered. Make sure you have a holster with a good retention system.

3. IF YOUR HANDGUN FALLS OUT FROM YOUR HOLSTER WHILST RUNING, ETC... YOU'LL BE DISQUALIFIED.

4. Before moving from one position to another with your carbine you need to have your safety catch ON SAFE and your finger is OFF THE TRIGGER. Failure to do so will get you DISQUALIFIED.

5. NO.... YOU CANNOT TAPE YOUR CARBINE MAGS TOGETHER! Unless they can be clamped together. Like SIG's etc... If you don't have a mag pouch you can stow your spare mag in your trouser pocket! (If you really have to tape them together you need to wear proper attire... Like flip flops, a dish dash and a turban)

6. All mag changes have to be performed whilst firearms are pointing DOWN RANGE!

7. Do not break the 180 degree arc.

8. ANY shooter that breaches safety will be DISQUALIFIED.

9. Make sure to have your TSL - A and Insurance cover with you.

Thanks Mildot, it seems more IDPA style than IPSC, do we need a sling for the carbine of course?
