  Show us your airguns
« on: November 21, 2007, 04:20:24 AM » by karbine
I though I'd start a parallel thread to this one in the powder burner's section, for those of us who prefer the clean joys of compressed air Smiley

I'll start of with my current collection:

Some more family photos...

Tal-Molla  Grin

Diana 54 Airking Semi-Recoilless - Internally re-worked, lots of stuff smoothed out, de-restricted spring, etc.

Air Arms TX200 SR Semi-Recoilless - I think the only one that has had absolutely nothing done to it, as it needed nothing done. Nice walnut stock.

Ta' L-Arja  Tongue

Air Arms S300 with free-floated barrel, replacement exhaust valve, replacement hammer spring, opened out transfer port, and custom aluminium moderator. Scope has a custom spirit level attached.

BSA Super10 - again the internals have had a lot of work done to them, regulator modified, hammer spring replaced, trigger work, barrel lapped, hi-cap buddy bottle, custom steel moderator.

Their time will come!!!

At the moment Saturdays are more realistic though, but Sat sessions are not really guaranteed, are they?

Now YES from next Saturday there is a roster 14:00 till 17:00 hrs.
A club official will open the range from 14:00 and closes the range at 17:00hrs.
An attendnce fee of Lm 0.50c is to be paid to the club official.

NO one is allowed on the range unless there is a club official present.
I will post tomorrow the Roster and contact persons.

Hi, Karbine :

What can you tell me about the Baikal Pitol/Rifle ? Did you test it at the range ? Is it good as a rifle ?

Re the Baikal MP-651K, the performance remains that of a typical CO2 pistol - muzzle energy is on the low side, under 2 ft/lbs - when converted to a rifle, the front section is purely aesthetic, it doesn't add any barrel length.  The rear portion adds a stock which helps accuracy, though in this configuration it can be fired double action only.  Within the rear stock there is a periscope arrangement that allows you to use the pistol sights, meaning it doesn't have to be resighted.  Magazine capacity is 8 shots for pellets or 23 shots with steel or lead BBs, and a CO2 capsule lasts around 80 shots.
